IQ Postcards (IQ01). These postcard were inspired by an IQ test for kids from the early 1900s. The object of the test was, more or less, to fill-in-the-blank… if the kid could draw in the missing nose on a woman’s face it proved a certain level of smarts. But what if the kid started combining the missing nose with the barrel of a gun, or a rabbit’s body with the head of a lady? What would that prove?
Letterpress printed on heavy cardstock from two hand carved wood blocks using hand mixed ink. Set of four different designs, size: 4.5″ × 6.25″.
