A is For... Awesome.

The Firecracker Press is happy to have teamed up with COCA (Center of Creative Arts) to help design, woodcut, and handprint imagery for this year’s fundraiser/exhibition “A is For…” This project invited 26 local artists and asked them to produce a work of art based on a letter of the alphabet in the context of how children impact art-making.

To be from the mid-west and visit the Gateway Arch is a right of passage and for some a pilgrimage. It seems like it’s always been a part of the St. Louis skyline, though construction began on the structure in 1963, and it’s what separates the city of St. Louis from so many other urban centers of similar size and situation.
