On Friday, March 18th the Firecracker Press is hosting a reception from 5-10pm for St. Louis Typefoundries, a display of type designed and made in St. Louis. This exhibit is a visual history of type in St. Louis, with example type kindly provided by Carole and Robert Mullen as well as Dick Niehaus of the St. Louis Letterpress Society and supplemented by our own, before being hand set and printed. The SGC International Conference is fast approaching, and with it the debut of the brand spanking new band, Manual Feed, consisting of The Firecracker Press and our friends.
